Social Impact – Advocating For Survivors Human Trafficking – episode 147 with my guest Sara Pestana

Survivors of human trafficking are not to be written off as useless in the fight against the trauma that traffickers have put these victims through. They are the specialists, they can do much when it comes to preventive work, and they are the best advocates for current survivors and victims of human trafficking. I am quite honored to have spoken with Sara Pestana during this in-depth conversation about the work that she does. She is a passionate advocate for strengthening the victims that many have forgotten.

Sara Pestana is the founder and Executive Director of Humans For Humans

Humans For Humans is based in Oslo Norway and provides free mental health support for human trafficking survivors and for the professionals working in the field. They work towards preventing human trafficking by creating awareness among the general public, by providing articles, workshops, and events.
