“What is a father’s love in comparison to a mother’s love?” is a question that from time to time is presented by both father’s advocates and feminists. An open mind would answer that there is no comparison and that the two “loves” are equally important.
Travis Peterson is a children’s book author and book designer. He is the author of Ada and the Helpers.
I talk with Travis about the journey he and his wife have had as parents of a child who is deaf, their experience with cochlear implants, the sudden temporary loss of those implants this Summer, and how Travis has approached the “grieving” process as a father and children’s author.
