Doctor Howell Wechsler is currently the Director of U.S. Programs at the non-profit organisation FHI 360. He spent over 18 years working as a health scientist for the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the last nine years of that time as the Director of the Division of Adolescent and School Health. John Alan talks with Howell about Howell’s service in the Peace Corps in Zaire (now known as the Democratic Republic of the Congo), other aspects of the Doctor’s expansive career, and the societal benefits of helping individuals.
